Sree Durga Bhagavathi Charitable Society is a voluntary organization that has, over the years, extended its branches of charity in the field of medical services and grown into a shelter that offers care and support to all. With the selfless service and generous financial assistance of kind-hearted individuals, the organization has, in recent years, been able to wipe away many tears through a wide range of welfare activities across various sectors of society.

“Bhavana Jeevan” is a flagship project of the Mudupara Sree Durga Bhagavathi Charitable Society, which has been operating with Vizhinjam–Mukkola as its base for the past 11 years.The project is implemented to help economically disadvantaged families realize their dream of owning a home.

Charitable activities carried out under the Mudupara Sree Durga Bhagavathi Charitable Society include: Ammaveedu Old Age Home,Community Marriage Program, Widow Pension Scheme,Distribution of Educational Materials,Annam Samridham Project,COVID Eradication Campaign and the Bhavana Jeevan Project.
